Tiger Chinese Scroll Painting – Silk Wall Art – Two Tigers Forest

Here the two tigers forest theme is set down on silk, in a tiger scroll painting of the traditional school. The picture's quiet confidence comes from what the painter chose to leave out. For shoppers browsing classical chinese brush painting, this one hits the familiar notes without a hint of fuss.

The stream settles naturally into the scene, balanced against the larger forms. The two tigers appears as a small pleasure of the composition, easily missed and worth finding. The rock surfaces are built from layered dabs, suggesting age and weather. Drawn with economical strokes, the forest keeps the scene grounded and honest. The eye is led, never pushed, from one part of the scene to the next.

For a home leaning toward classical chinese artwork, this scroll is a natural fit. Placed well, it anchors a room without dominating it. It sits as happily in a modern loft as in a traditional study.
